This classic chain is effectively the Dunkin’ Donuts of Japan (and Asia). Although their donuts are a bit smaller than the craft donut shops, Mister Donut has always been tasty and affordable. In fact, they’re nearly half the price of the craft donut places. Recently, Mister Donut has upped their game with fancier offerings and collaborations with famous chocolatiers. And it’s really good. So it’s definitely the best price/performance ratio.
On a side note, Mister Donut had shops in the US and Canada back in the 80s but were acquired by Dunkin’ Donuts.
